These powders are specially formulated to develop latent marks on both non porous (e.g. glass, ceramics,) and semi porous surfaces (e.g. plastics, non-ferrous metals). They have been shown to perform up to twenty-eight days after deposition. Following extensive evaluations our customers report that the SupraNano™ Powders can provide significantly enhanced contrast and definition over a wide range of surfaces compared to conventional latent fingerprinting powders. The SupraNano™ powders are available in a range of colors in both magnetic and non- magnetic formats.

Product Background: Following extensive research, a range of stable core silica sub-micron particles has been engineered at the supranano scale to produce a targeted set of properties suitable for a wide range of fingerprinting powder products. The end particle size is within the normal fingerprinting powder range while employing standard finger mark lifting operational procedures and conforming to normal health and safety requirements.

Features and Benefits:

·       Supranano™ powders are smaller in size than conventional fingerprint powders. They are both hydrophilic and hydrophobic which means that they adhere to the fingerprint ridges much more closely while resulting in enhanced definition and contrast.

·       The powders are designed not to clump and any excess powder is easily removed from the brush.

·       The Supranano™ powders are available in a wide range of colours in magnetic, non-magnetic and fluorescent versions.

·       Latent marks may be developed up to twenty-eight days after deposition.

·       The Supranano™ powders are safe to use with standard crime scene powder protocol and no additional HSE requirements.
