Q. Who can purchase Scenesafe forensic products?
A. Primarily Scenesafe supply law enforcement agencies both in the UK and abroad with forensic products. If you are not a member of a law enforcement agency, but are interested in purchasing our forensic products, please contact us as we assess cases on an individual basis.

Q. How do I get a price list?
A. Price lists for our forensic products are available to Scenesafe customers. Please call or email to request your copy.

Q. How do I place an order?
A. Approved customers can place their order by email to scenesafe@fss.pnn.police.uk or by fax to +44 (0) 121 329 5214.  If you do not hold an account, we are happy to accept credit card payments.  Please contact the sales office on  +44 (0)0870 609 2385 to discuss your requirements

Q. Is there a minimum order quantity on Scensafe forensic kits?
A. No, however a delivery charge applies to orders under £75.00 excluding VAT.

Q. How quickly can I get my order of forensic products?
A. We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours, and if an order is placed before noon, it will be delivered the next working day (subject to stock availability). We will always endeavour to meet your delivery needs and if you have an urgent requirement, please call the sales office to discuss. 

Q. How long is the expiry date on Scenesafe forensic kits?
A. Ther are components contained within the majority of  our kit range that have a maximum guaranteed shelf life which will affect the overall kit expiry date. We always aim to provide kits with the maximum shelf life possible and as a minimum, the expiry date will be 12 months from the date of despatch from our warehouse.
(NB. certain chemical kits may have a shorter shelf life)

Q. Can I use a Scenesafe forensic kit after the expiry date has passed?
A. The manufacturer’s product liability ceases to exist once a product passes its expiry date. We therefore recommend that Scenesafe forensic products are safely disposed of once their expiry date has passed. If you have any specific questions, please call the sales office to discuss in further detail.

Q. How do I dispose of expired forensic kits?
A. Please dispose of forensic products according to your local recycling and waste management policy.

Q. If I open a kit but do not use all of the components, can I use them at a later date?
A. To ensure effective preservation of evidence we do not advise that individual components of our forensic kits are used at a later date. Please use them at the time of opening the forensic kit.
